Cardiomyopathy, Hypertrophic obstructive

hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: A condition in which the myocardium is hypertrophied without an obvious cause. The hypertrophy is generally asymmetric and may be associated with obstruction of the ventricular outflow tract.
